PL Staff / Production Staff

About the role

PT Syaqua Indonesia is seeking a dedicated PL Staff / Production Staff to join our team in Aceh. This full-time position is a crucial part of our operations, responsible for overseeing various aspects of our aquaculture production processes.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and maintaining optimal conditions in aquaculture ponds and tanks

• Coordinating the stocking, feeding, and harvesting of aquatic species

• Performing water quality tests and making necessary adjustments to ensure ideal water parameters

• Implementing disease prevention and treatment protocols

• Maintaining accurate production records and reporting on key metrics

• Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and facilities

• Collaborating with the broader production team to optimise workflows and processes

• Assist PL Supervisor with daily production activity to ensure are on production plans and running smoothly. Work completed effectively. Follow established procedures to ensure the well-being and growth of shrimp.

• Water Quality management: Monitor and maintain water quality parameters within optimal ranges and implement strategies to address any issues related to water quality that may impact shrimp health or shrimp growth performance.

• Health Monitoring: Conduct regular visual inspections to identify signs of stress, disease, or abnormalities. Follow established health monitoring protocols and report any concerns to the supervisory team.

• Recoding: Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, including feed consumption, water quality, chemicals used, etc.

• Biosecurity: Regularly monitor the health status of all stages of shrimp through visual inspections and, if applicable, diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate records of health assessments and any observed abnormalities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for company operations.

1. Relevant experience in aquaculture or a similar production environment

2. Strong understanding of water quality management and aquatic species husbandry

3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

4. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records

5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow standard operating procedures

6. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices

7. Promptly notifies superior on any issue

8. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets and quality standards.

9. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team.

10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
