About the role
Join the dynamic team at By Suka Collective' as a Sous Chef in Badung, Bali. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to take on a key leadership position and contribute to the success of this renowned hospitality group.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation
Manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training and support to drive performance
Participate in menu development, testing new recipes and refining existing dishes
Maintain strict inventory control and budgeting for your area of responsibility
Ensure full compliance with all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant
What we're looking for
At least 1 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
Formal culinary training and/or a recognised qualification in hospitality or catering
Extensive knowledge of international cuisines and a passion for creating innovative, flavourful dishes
Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and team leadership abilities
Commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
