Your mission at Sistema.bio:
Reporting to the MIT Manager (Manufacturing Improvement Team), your role involves creating new electronics, robotics, and programmable automation products and parts that can be mass-produced, cost-efficient, and highly effective, primarily to support the Production department. You'll also be tasked with continuously enhancing the system to streamline production processes and assembly lines for improved efficiency.
You’ll be in charge of:
- Managing NPD Department’s (New Product Development) day to day activities like design, development and Improvement of the new products.
- Developing New Parts, Systems, Assemblies or Products for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness from a production perspective for both internal(in-house) and (client) external stakeholders. As well as creating new processes/ methods/ Prototypes/system to develop and bring out new products.
- Updating, Modifying or Improving existing Part Manufacturing and assembly line for better Efficiency of the system.
- Assisting in increasing the productivity of the production line by solving Product issues of end users.
- Ensuring New Product development Projects meet deadlines, while managing and keeping a tap on multiple projects and ensuring all of its process is well documented.
More about YOU:
- Education: BE Mechatronics/Robotics/Instrumentation/Electronics with 6-8 years of experience or ME Mechatronics/Robotics/Instrumentation/Electronics with 4-5 years of experience in relevant field.
Key Experiences & Skills:
- Minimum 5-6 years in a New Product development field or Product design or end-to-end electronics/ robotic/ automation product development.
- Design for manufacturing expertise.
- Larger experience in electronics and robotics product development from concept to marke.t
- Good knowledge and experience in Prototype development and making proof of concepts.
- Strong experience in Project Management.
- Experience in leading and guiding the Team of design engineers.
- Motivating and doer’s attitude.
- Excellent writing skills in English.
- Ability to work with a multicultural team.

- This is a full-time position based in Chakan, Pune
