This role is Office Based, Pune OfficeRole: Senior Reporting Analyst – Center of Excellence (Pune, India)
In this role you will...
- Own OTC KPI reporting, including ARR and related SaaS metrics.
- Validate and reconcile ARR/OTC data across Salesforce (SFDC) reporting datasets and Oracle, resolving issues tied to completeness, timing, hierarchy mapping, and definition alignment.
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards/scorecards in Tableau and/or Power BI, including scheduled and automated reporting.
- Coordinate reporting intake and prioritization: clarify requirements, size effort, prioritize requests, track status, and communicate timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Support month-end/quarter-end close with variance analysis, reconciliation support, and on-time delivery of required reporting outputs.
- Identify and troubleshoot data anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and support testing, audits, and validation activities.
- Maintain reporting governance and documentation: metric definitions, logic, data lineage, SOPs/runbooks, and control checks to improve auditability.
- Promote continuous improvement by standardizing definitions, automating repeatable tasks, and strengthening data quality controls to reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate activities with other teams, escalating blockers and aligning stakeholders while supporting privacy/security compliance.
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
- A bachelor’s degree related to accounting/finance.
- 4+ years in relevant reporting and analytics experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Tableau and/or Power BI, building executive-ready dashboards and scalable data modeling and reporting solutions.
- Working knowledge of SFDC and Oracle: reporting, data extraction, validation, and understanding source-to-report flows.
- Exposure to subscription management platforms and SaaS operational metrics.
- Proven experience in reconciliations, data validation (completeness, accuracy, timing differences, hierarchy mismatches, and definition alignment), and anomaly investigation using structured problem solving.
- Solid understanding of OTC and revenue/accounting concepts, including basic control awareness (e.g., revenue/deferral mechanics).
- Advanced Excel (large datasets, pivots/lookups; strong analytical hygiene); and data modeling.
- Strong written and verbal English, able to translate business questions into clear reporting requirements and influence outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment, manage multiple stakeholders, and work effectively in a global setup.
