Title: SailPoint Developer/ Senior SailPoint Developer Position Summary: The global Governance, Risk and Assurance team is responsible for maintaining compliance with enterprise cybersecurity control frameworks, policies and procedures. The team is part of the global Cybersecurity Engineering and Assurance organization at Cornerstone OnDemand. The SailPoint Developer plays a critical role in supporting the identity security strategy and vision of the Cybersecurity Engineering Assurance team, and reports into the Associate Director of Cybersecurity Assurance. In this role, you will be the SailPoint IdentityIQ subject matter expert with a broad understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) processes and implementations. Cornerstone uses SailPoint IIQ for automated governance of its access control mechanisms covering areas such as account lifecycle management, role-based access control, access recertifications, and more. This role focuses on development of new features and integrations based on changing business and cybersecurity requirements, as well as continuous maintenance of the platform. You should have a solid working knowledge of IT systems and technologies and enjoy working collaboratively across teams. This position requires constant interaction with operations and security teams to comprehend requirements, build innovative solutions, optimize existing processes, ensure continuous effectiveness of the SailPoint’s IAM governance controls, and produce metrics, scorecards, reports and dashboards periodically. In this role you will… Work closely with the global Cybersecurity Engineering Assurance team to implement security standards across the organization. Administer and maintain Cornerstone’s SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, and develop innovative solutions to fulfil business requirements Analyze complex requirements, security policies, standards and operating procedures to devise best-in-class solutions. Actively engage in all SailPoint deployment activities such as connector configurations, custom rule development, workflow configuration and development, and third-party system integrations. Implement robust IAM features covering self-service automation, password management, lifecycle workflows, and configuration of various roles and access control policies in SailPoint. Ensure optimum quality control and assurance, such as developing and executing test plans and scripts, performing audit log reviews and investigations, and resolving exceptions for new and existing IAM solutions. Administer and maintain LCM workflows like joiners, movers, leavers and other custom workflows to support critical IAM automations. Perform thorough root-cause analyses for identified problems and exceptions as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive requirements specifications, solution architectures, user guides, FAQs and support documentation. You’ve got what it takes if you have… Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields. Professional SailPoint credentials such as Identity Security Administrator, Identity Security Engineer and IdentityIQ Engineer are desired. 2-8 years of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ administration, design, development, testing, configuration, integration and deployment. Hands-on expertise in onboarding applications in SailPoint IdentityIQ using both out-of-the-box and custom connectors Strong experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ workflows, lifecycle events, approval processes, rules, forms, tasks and customizations. Strong experience in IdentityIQ infrastructure and environment management, including installation, upgrades, patching, deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation in complex enterprise IAM environments. Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices including Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) automation, RBAC, birthright access, user and role provisioning/deprovisioning, entitlement management and periodic access recertifications. Strong understanding of IAM security principles, including least privilege, access governance, segregation of duties (SoD), compliance, and audit requirements. Proficient in software development methodologies using Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL, PowerShell and XML. Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, LDAP, HRMS, DBMS and SaaS applications. Experience in integrating ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira with SailPoint IdentityIQ. Experience in troubleshooting and performance-tuning of SailPoint IdentityIQ, including aggregation, provisioning, workflows, database queries, scheduled tasks, and connector-related issues. Strong knowledge of SailPoint debugging, logging, task monitoring, error analysis, and production incident management. Experience with Bitbucket, Splunk, Thycotic/Delinea, Entra ID, AWS and Azure technologies is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint with mature data analysis, documentation, articulation and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across global regions and organizational levels. Ability to work autonomously with flexibility, professionalism and excellent judgment.
