Someone Somewhere is a social enterprise on a mission to break the cycle of poverty among artisans and textile workers by generating dignified employment and regenerating nature. We combine traditional handmade techniques, modern and functional design, recycled materials, and tech-enabled sales channels to create carbon-neutral, high-impact supply chains.

We’ve found a way to work with thousands of artisans simultaneously, increasing their monthly income by over 300%. Our in-house design team develops innovative product concepts, artisans contribute handcrafted elements, and specialized workshops and factories assemble the final pieces.

Position Objective

Lead the B2B sales strategy to drive growth in the corporate promotional products segment (apparel and accessories). This includes acquiring high-potential new accounts, strengthening relationships with current clients, and leading the sales team to meet ambitious targets with a focus on quality, service, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the B2B sales strategy to meet growth objectives.
  • Actively prospect and acquire high-potential corporate accounts.
  • Build tailored value propositions that highlight the quality, impact, and uniqueness of our promotional products.
  • Lead and support the commercial team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, procurement, and logistics) to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with key clients.
  • Analyze performance metrics (sales, margins, conversion, retention) and adjust strategy based on results.
  • Represent the company at fairs, events, and client meetings to position our brand and offering.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records and foster a data-driven commercial culture.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in B2B sales, with a proven track record selling physical products (preferably apparel, accessories, or promotional items).
  • At least 2 years leading sales teams.
  • Experience working with corporate clients, agencies, and marketing or HR departments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Design, or related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate studies in sales or leadership are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong consultative selling and prospecting skills.
  • Understanding of long sales cycles, pricing models, and margin management.
  • Inspirational leadership with strategic vision and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, Excel, and commercial presentations.

Languages:

  • English: Intermediate to advanced (preferred for international/multinational clients)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • % B2B sales growth (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Number of new accounts activated
  • Average ticket size per sale
  • Gross margin per client or project
  • Client retention and satisfaction (NPS or similar)
