You Are
An experienced and visionary Director of Human Resources and Culture who can lead our HR functions and support our growth by fostering a vibrant, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals and mission.
- Provide strategic counsel to leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Lead recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent in the renewable energy sector.
- Design initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the company culture.
Culture and Employee Experience:
- Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.
- Develop employee programs and initiatives to promote well-being and career growth.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Oversee all HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance with employment laws.
- Implement and refine HR policies, procedures, and systems to scale with company growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
Performance Management and Development:
- Develop performance evaluation processes that align with organizational objectives.
- Establish training and development programs to upskill employees and support leadership growth.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to managers and leaders.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in high-growth or innovative sectors.
- Proven track record of building and scaling HR functions in a dynamic organization.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.

Salary: $120,000 CAD
