You Are

An experienced and visionary Director of Human Resources and Culture who can lead our HR functions and support our growth by fostering a vibrant, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals and mission.
• Provide strategic counsel to leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

• Lead recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent in the renewable energy sector.
• Design initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the company culture.

Culture and Employee Experience:

• Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.
• Develop employee programs and initiatives to promote well-being and career growth.

HR Operations and Compliance:

• Oversee all HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance with employment laws.
• Implement and refine HR policies, procedures, and systems to scale with company growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.

Performance Management and Development:

• Develop performance evaluation processes that align with organizational objectives.
• Establish training and development programs to upskill employees and support leadership growth.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to managers and leaders.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Key Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in high-growth or innovative sectors.
• Proven track record of building and scaling HR functions in a dynamic organization.
• Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.

Salary: $120,000 CAD
