Senior Product Manager

Seattle, WA, USA

The Strella Mission
Up to 40% of fresh produce is wasted in the United States. Globally, food that is never consumed accounts for 7% of global freshwater use and 308 million hectares of land. Our goal is to reduce this waste by making the produce supply chain smarter through data-driven decisions.
Strella uses proprietary sensors to predict shelf life throughout the food supply chain. We use this information to reduce food waste and help deliver better-quality produce to consumers. We are a 20-person Series A company whose technology has been commercially deployed for five years.
Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own one or more of our products end-to-end.
You'll work directly with our enterprise customers across the produce supply chain and closely with our data science, software, hardware, and commercial teams. You'll define product strategy, translate complex customer and technical problems into clear product direction, and lead execution from concept through rollout and validation. This role reports to our Head of Product.
You care deeply about product impact and sweat the nitty-gritty details. You'll thrive here if you're at ease with ambiguity, move quickly from problem to action, and can operate independently in a startup environment.
This is a Seattle-based hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in our downtown office, along with visits to customer facilities several times per year.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for products within Strella's portfolio
- Partner with our technical teams to turn produce maturity predictions into automated operational decisions
- Engage directly with customers and our commercial team to ensure successful product rollouts, build strong long-term partnerships, and serve as the voice of the customer internally
- Balance mature and emerging products, investing in scalable systems for established products while rapidly iterating on new ones
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in product management
- Startup experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to move between high-level product strategy and detailed execution, including prototypes, requirements, and product specifications
- Strong B2B customer instincts and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, from warehouse teams to executives
- Comfortable operating beyond traditional product responsibilities when needed, including customer success, operations, or technical problem-solving
- SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience in supply chain, IoT, or hardware-enabled SaaS is preferred
Pay & Benefits
- $140,000 - $170,000 salary
- Meaningful equity
- 401(k) with match
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Unlimited PTO
If you're excited about building technology that reduces food waste at scale, we'd love to hear from you.
