The Strella Mission

More than 40% of all fresh produce is wasted in the U.S.—over $17 billion annually—creating more carbon emissions than all U.S. transportation combined. Strella’s mission is to reduce food waste by bringing intelligence, predictability, and automation to the produce supply chain.Strella uses proprietary sensor technology and predictive analytics to measure and forecast shelf life, enabling suppliers, ripeners, and retailers to make better operational decisions. After five years of commercial deployment, we are entering a high-growth phase and expanding our enterprise customer footprint.

The Role

You’ll own our relationships with large enterprise customers using Strella’s automated banana ripening and shelf-life platform. Two qualities matter most. First, you’re data-driven and organized: you like digging into graphs and turning trends into recommendations. Second, you build relationships that last for years and grow over time.

What You’ll Do

  • Build long-term relationships across enterprise accounts, from operations and QA teams up to senior leadership.
  • Use performance data to show value, spot problems early, and recommend improvements.
  • Lead onboarding and deployment of Strella’s hardware and software at customer facilities.
  • Work with Sales on renewals, expansions, and new site rollouts.
  • Serve as the customer’s primary technical contact, and bring in Engineering when needed.
  • Bring customer feedback back to the Product team.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years managing complex enterprise accounts, with a track record of retention and expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills. You’re comfortable with dashboards, data platforms, and CRM, ERP, or WMS systems.
  • Highly organized, and able to manage several accounts and projects at once.
  • Clear communication with everyone from frontline operators to executives.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites in the Eastern U.S.
  • Professional Spanish fluency is strongly preferred, and experience in produce, food distribution, or supply chain is a plus.
  • Startup experience preferred.
