General Summary:

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and automated test workflows for embedded/Linux-based software.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of C++ and Python-based test automation frameworks and utilities.
- Implement and maintain unit/system-level validation using GTest and BBTest (or similar test frameworks).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system validation; ensure test completeness and traceability as required.
- Analyze logs, triage failures, support debugging, and collaborate with development teams to drive issue resolution.
- Work with senior engineers to improve automation robustness, test coverage, and release readiness.
- Support test execution in CI/CD environments and help integrate tests into pipelines as needed.
- (Preferred) Participate in V2X security stack testing and standards/protocol-based validation activities.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing and/or test automation.
- Proficiency in C++ (development and debugging fundamentals).
- Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
- Experience with GTest and/or BBTest (or equivalent unit/system test frameworks).
- Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting/commands, and debugging tools/log analysis.
- Understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Exposure to V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication, security concepts, or related standards.
- Understanding of cryptography basics, certificates/PKI, and security validation practices.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (sockets, TCP/IP, wireless/packet flows).
- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Awareness of ASPICE or comparable engineering/process frameworks.
