General Summary:

Duties include being responsible for program execution of complex semiconductor devices in terms of schedule, performance, power and cost through the complete ASIC cycle from program conception, scoping, execution through to commercial sample release. A high visibility position with a high degree of responsibility in a fast-paced environment

Role involves

• Managing ASIC/IP development lifecycle
• Working closely with an array of stakeholders – Design, Verification, Synthesis, DFT, Physical Design etc towards successful tape-outs
• Risk management and disciplined management of information important to key stakeholders, internal and external to the team.
• Roll-up and reporting regularly to senior management on key product development milestones, metrics, risks, risk mitigation plans and staffing status.
• Effective implementation of change control, development reviews, and other product development processes.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be experienced in ASIC lifecycle development.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate at all levels.
• Must be capable of synchronizing and motivating other program managers, marketing and engineering leads to attain common goals.
• Track record of proven leadership, business and program management performance.
• Experience with interfacing with foundry and operations would be an advantage.
• Must have strong Microsoft tools like Microsoft Project, Advanced Excel, Power Point.
• Total 10-15 yrs experience, 3+ yrs project/program management experience desired
