At Qualcomm XR Labs Europe, we’re a passionate world-class team of engineers who want to change the world through virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) products and technologies.

We are hiring a research intern in the area of deep learning and computer vision for efficient 3D reconstruction and scene understanding in our Amsterdam office to further develop novel techniques for mobile perception technology.

Your research will include the development of novel and efficient methods in the areas mentioned above that can power up our next generation algorithms that will be deployed on a large number of devices world-wide. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced researchers, work on campus next to the University of Amsterdam and live in a scenic, vibrant city with high living standards, numerous cultural activities, and plenty of green spaces.

We are looking for a candidate, with the following preferred qualifications:

• Exposure to 3D computer vision topics such as 3D reconstruction and understanding.
• Research experience with one or more topics from large language models, vision language models and Gaussian splatting is a plus.
• Skilled in conducting independent quality research, preferably at the PhD candidacy level.
• Experience in publishing at top Machine Learning/Computer Vision venues, including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, ICRA.
  
  
  

Students need to be mid-study looking for work experience or a mandatory internship towards completing their degree.
