General Summary
We are looking for a Junior Commodity Manager to support memory operations and supplier management for DRAM components. Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational activities with DRAM suppliers, including order placement, delivery tracking, and escalation management.
- Support commodity strategy execution by maintaining supplier alignment on cost, lead time, and allocation commitments.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure DRAM supply continuity for manufacturing and NPI builds.
- Assist in RFQ processes, cost analysis, and contract administration.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (pricing, lead times, AVL updates).
- Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to resolve supply issues and implement corrective actions.
- Track and report supplier performance metrics (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness).
- Support risk mitigation plans during allocation or market volatility.
- 6+ years experience in supplier management and production operations.
- Familiarity with DRAM technologies and memory supply chain fundamentals.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of AVL management, PCN processes, and basic contract terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Detail-Oriented Execution: Ensures accuracy in orders, data, and supplier communication.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Thinking: Supports cost analysis and supply risk assessments.
- Adaptability: Responds quickly to changing supply conditions.
- On-time delivery ≥ 95% for DRAM components.
- Accurate ERP data maintenance (pricing, lead time, AVL).
- Timely resolution of supply issues and escalations.
- Positive supplier scorecard performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
- 6+ years of industry-specific experience in Procurement, Operations, or related work experience.
