Job Overview

Voice AI is designed to provide lower power wakeup and low-latency, high-performance on-device voice technology on Qualcomm platform. The voice technology includes Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), etc. Voice AI can be applied in various scenarios, such as a front-end of LLMs.

We are looking for talented and motivated Voice AI Software Engineer working on voice technology on Snapdragon. The ideal candidate will have rich experience in software design and development on Android.

Skills/Experience

• Software design and development experience on Android.
• Solid programming and debugging skills in languages such as JAVA, C/C++.
• Good understanding of Voice/Audio system architecture on Android.
• Experience and knowledge of Voice recognition area, such as TTS/ASR/NLU.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English. Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team.
• Team player, learn quickly with high motivation.
• The ability to provide solutions through technical research and competitive analysis will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge in DL/ML, familiarity with technologies for model optimization and deployment, will be considered an advantage.
• It is good if candidates with experience in leading technical teams, as this will be considered an advantage.
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design/develop Voice AI architecture/software on Android for target requirement.
• Develop SDKs for target algorithm/model and sample applications on Android.
• Provide technical support to customer requirements and release version.
• Document and share knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure technical solutions meet the requirements.
  
  
  

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years’ experiences, or Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years’ experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
