General Summary
Qualcomm's QCT Automotive C2C team is responsible for building embedded, next-generation system-on-chip solutions for C2C segment as part of a Global Qualcomm Automotive initiative across sites/continents.
We are looking for Software Engineers with strong expertise in Automotive and Security domain for upcoming Automotive products.
A successful candidate will work in C2C team by offering in-depth expertise on automotive modules, collaborating with engineering teams across functional areas, and driving organization to continuously improve the security of Qualcomm automotive products.
Engineer with 2+yrs of industry experience required in one or more of the following areas: - Automotive back ground, Exposure to heterogeneous computing and co-processor architecture -Deep understanding of ARM system, DSP and CPU architecture with Strong C/C++ working knowledge -Hypervisor architecture (Intel, ARM, AMD, etc.) is a plus -Embedded System architecture(s) with exposure to one or more RTOS (e.g., Android, Linux, QNX, etc.) Embedded software design.
Strong software development skills, C and C++ programming, problem analysis, and debugging skills. Knowledge in real-time microprocessor-based embedded programming and embedded real-time operating systems.
Solid understanding of computer system architecture (core, cache, memory models, bus architecture, etc.) and common hardware blocks for security access control (e.g., crypto acceleration, OTP, MPU, etc.). Ability to derive, document, and present high-level system requirements from the associated detailed technology requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Embedded hardware, Computer Architecture and Operating System concepts.
- Good understanding of OS concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, etc.
- Understanding of RTOS fundamentals like multi-threading, interrupt management, cache/memory management etc.
- Experience in real-time SW development for embedded products.
- Android Automotive OS / AOSP Hands on ( minimum A13 onwards)
- Linux Kernel & Linux Android Boot working experience.
- Android Stability, Debugging including Monkey , Instrumentation frameworks,
- Android CTS, VTS, STS,
- Basic understanding on GKI, GSI and compliance requirements.
- Android HAL understanding ( HIDL, AIDL, VNDK), And interactions with multiple layers.
- Working knowledge on Android Build system.
- Motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills & should be able to lead people.
- Strong C/C++ Programming Skills. Hands on experience of Java, C++ Libraries/JNI & Frameworks.
- Experience in Git, Android Make, Android Tools, Android Studio, Adb.
- Experience on Trustzone related environments.
