Arduino is seeking a Software Product Manager to shape the next generation of our development ecosystem—empowering millions of developers, educators, and professionals to build seamlessly across devices, platforms, and environments.
In this role, you’ll lead the evolution of Arduino’s software tools, defining unified workflows for building, managing, and deploying projects. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, and documentation teams to simplify complex interactions, elevate developer productivity, and deliver exceptional end‑to‑end experiences.
This position can be based at our operational headquarters in Turin or remotely within Italy.

Shape the Vision
- Define and execute the roadmap for Arduino’s software tooling ecosystem across desktop and web environments
- Gather insights from Education, Maker, Professional, and Enterprise users to craft clear, impactful product strategies
- Identify opportunities to unify workflows, strengthen project and device management, and modernize the core development experience
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high‑quality functionality across multiple platforms
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, consistent, and delightful developer experiences
- Support the evolution of project systems, debugging capabilities, device and board management, library/package systems, and cloud‑connected workflows
- Ensure predictable, seamless interactions across multiple devices and platforms
- Contribute to documentation, examples, onboarding flows, and support materials that make development easier and more accessible
- Partner with marketing, education, and community teams to communicate new features and workflows effectively
- Align documentation, support, engineering, and operations teams for smooth releases and strong user adoption
- Use user feedback, telemetry, and business KPIs to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Prioritize enhancements, performance optimizations, and UI/UX refinements
- Lead transitions between tooling platforms while ensuring stability, continuity, and excellent user guidance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, community contributors, and external partners to define requirements and align on priorities
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strengthen Arduino’s tooling ecosystem through thoughtful integrations, partnerships, and platform extensions
- 3–5+ years of Product Management experience in software tooling, developer workflows, or platform products
- Strong understanding of IDEs or developer tools, including project structures, debugging flows, and multi‑device interactions
- Experience with cross‑platform applications (desktop, web, mobile)
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams on technical trade‑offs and feature feasibility
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for a wide range of audiences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Fluency in English; Italian is a plus
- Occasional travel for meetings, events, and user engagements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
- Experience with embedded systems, firmware flows, or hardware–software integrations
- Familiarity with open‑source ecosystems or contributor communities
- Exposure to UI/UX design for developer tools, cloud‑connected workflows, or debugging systems
- Ability to write technical content such as migration guides, tutorials, or troubleshooting documentation
- Experience supporting or leading large‑scale platform transitions or toolchain modernization
