As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
  
  
  

Job Description

• Perform problem troubleshooting with systematic & analytical mindset.
• Monitor process yield/scrap performance & implement effective improvement actions to improve process stability & solve chronic issues.
• Conduct training for line technicians to improve their technical competency and fan out critical knowledge relevant to achieve key module KPIs.
• Collaborate with equipment engineer on yield related topics and implement effective improvement/containment actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with external vendors on root cause identification, application support & other topics relevant to the smooth running of manufacturing equipment.
• Define process control procedures & upkeep documents related to the smooth running of manufacturing equipment.
• Participate or lead projects involving downtime reduction, cost saving, yield improvement or new material qualification.
• Coordinate equipment activities with inter and intra department personnel to ensure smooth execution
  
  
  

Requirements

• Hands on individual with experience in vacuum PVD equipment.
• Dynamic team player who possesses good interpersonal skills.
• Strong passion & drive to seek improvements to equipment & process setup.
