General Summary

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years experience working on different ATE testers and peripherals such as Advantest/Teradyne/Cohu testers, Hontech/Edge/Epson/Advantest handlers, and Tel probers
• Hands-on experience on bench setups
• Good communication skill in both written and oral
  
  
  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Setup and test devices according to Engineer’s instructions through TIS (Test Instruction Sheet)
• Support remote access request (test setup, changing of device, testing and collecting results, etc) through phone, emails, and online system
• Support ad-hoc/special request like Engineering upgrades and evaluation
• Perform Test hardware buy-off (new), debug and repair
• Compile engineering and operational reports
• Assembly of new instruments on benches
• Coordinate and execute equipment relocation (including incoming and outgoing)
• Perform/coordinate PM, calibration and repair of Test Floor equipment – ATE and peripherals, and Benches’ instruments as needed
• Support initial equipment setup, recipe creation and kit qualification
• Track and control Engineering parts used in testing and do regular inventory to ensure parts are not missing
• Track spares usage and inventory and generate report regularly or as needed if count is running low
• Upkeep all labs for ATE and Benches
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Associate's degree and 2+ years of Engineering Technician or related work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Engineering Technician or related work experience.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
• Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
