General Summary

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Job Description

• Analyze and troubleshoot problems with a systematic and analytical mindset.
• Monitor process performance and key parameters to maintain product quality and consistency, utilizing SPC charts and other statistical tools.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to drive yield, quality, and throughput improvement projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions on quality-related issues.
• Partner with external vendors to identify root causes, provide application support, and address topics relevant to the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct training sessions for technicians to enhance technical competency and disseminate critical knowledge needed to achieve key module KPIs.
• Lead or participate in projects focused on downtime reduction, cost savings, yield improvement, or new material qualification.
• Define process controls and prepare related documentation to ensure the smooth running of production.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physics / Chemistry / Material Science/ Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidates with experience in electroplating are preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor process technology
• Strong technical competencies in the relevant field of study
• Good understanding of statistical and quality tools
• Ability to work under pressure with a strong commitment to tasks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
