General Summary

Role Summary:

Seeking a Staff Engineer with strong Linux kernel development and upstreaming experience to work on SoC infrastructure, clock and power frameworks, and ARMv9 platforms.

The role involves hands‑on kernel development and active engagement with the upstream Linux community for Qualcomm platform enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Linux kernel drivers for SoCInfra and Common Clock Framework

Enable and optimize kernel support for latest ARMv9 CPUs

Drive Linux upstreaming for Qualcomm platforms

Debug complex kernel issues using T32, gdb, crash, etc.

Support platforms bring‑up and system‑level debug

Required Skills

Strong Linux kernel fundamentals and device driver model

Expertise in C programming

Knowledge of Clock, Regulator, and GenPD frameworks

Experience in kernel subsystems (core kernel, platform or device drivers)

Proficiency with Git, toolchains, and kernel debug tools

Android kernel experience is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  
  
  

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS / ECE or related field.
