The Test Manufacturing Engineering (TME) team is seeking a highly motivated and independent engineer to support high-volume manufacturing (HVM) test operations at OSAT sites in Korea.
This role requires a strong foundation in semiconductor test technologies, production process optimization, yield and reliability monitoring, and data-driven troubleshooting. The engineer will support both NPI bring-up and ongoing mass production, working closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure production readiness, test quality, and business fulfillment.
The position covers a broad range of product domains including RFFE (RF Front End), Automotive devices, and System Level Test (SLT), in addition to RF, AP, Modem, and PMIC products. The role is expected to flexibly support multiple product lines and test stages as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and report daily testing activities, yield monitoring, and production health metrics at HVM sites.
- Deliver first-line support for test-related issues, including ATE hardware and software debugging.
- Drive yield sustaining activities through data analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions.
- Support NPI bring-up, ATE / SLT / burn-in correlation, qualification, and production readiness reviews.
- Drive test coverage, robustness, and efficiency improvements for RFFE, Automotive, and SLT test flows.
- Analyze electrical failures and support RMA-related failure analysis in collaboration with Quality and FA teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Management, Project Leaders, Packaging, Quality, Planning, OSATs) to resolve test issues, engineering holds, and yield excursions.
- Evaluate and approve disposition of engineering holds based on technical assessment and data analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in test quality, yield, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency at SATs.
- Support QCT dynamic business requirements across IFM, Automotive, and emerging product areas.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor test processes with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- RF and Mixed-Signal devices (RFFE, PMIC, AP, Modem)
- Automotive semiconductor products
- System Level Test (SLT) or end-system validation
- Experience in product or test engineering, yield management, and productivity improvement in a mass production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Advantest ATE platforms (hardware and software debugging).
- Strong data analysis capability using tools such as DataPower, JUMP, Galaxy, SEDana, O+, Exensio, Spotfire, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in structured problem solving and translating technical issues into actionable solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Fluent in Korean and English.
- Ability to travel frequently to HVM OSAT sites to provide support
- 5–10+ years of semiconductor Product or Test Engineering experience.
- Experience with Automotive qualification flows (AEC-Q, reliability, long-cycle testing).
- Experience with SLT setup, debug, correlation, and yield improvement.
- Experience with Advantest, Cohu PAx, Teradyne, or additional ATE platforms.
- Production burn-in experience and system-level stress testing knowledge.
- Advanced RF test development and RF characterization experience.
- Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, C++, Perl).
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.).
- Experience working directly with OSATs in a fabless semiconductor business model.
- Knowledge of latest IC assembly, test, and automotive manufacturing technologies.
- Fluent in English.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related field).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses (up to ½ mile).
- Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 10 lbs.
- Performs required tasks at various heights (standing or sitting).
- Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours per day.
- Continuous communication with colleagues, customers, and vendors, both in person and remotely.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.
