General Summary
Job Scope
- Material Enhancement (Chemical & Gas)
- Spearhead safe chemical handling and usage within SIN FE Operations.
- Institute effective chemical ordering/reordering/st ocking system to ensure chemical availability.
- Provide dynamic system for managing and tracking chemicals, ensuring conformance to approved storage limits, licensing and renewals in line with production usage requirement.
- Support the smooth introduction of new chemicals required for new products and processes.
- Drive effective control of airborne molecular contaminations within the clean room environment.
- Drive effective chemical storage and waste management.
- Implement a structured way including Design of Experiments (DOE), to optimize for high throughput and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with TD for early material introduction and support new chemical onboarding activities, including chemical tag-on form release and updates, TTD creation, and completion of RA and AI requirements
- Establish standardized layouts and connection requirements for chemical systems to ensure safety, while leading training, certification, and compliance programs for all personnel
- Drive chemical safety investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to resolve recurring issues, enforce proper handling practices, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Drive reviews of Aspects, Impacts, Risks Assessments, and fulfillment of SDS and PPE requirements.
- Compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.
- Establish an integrated process for chemical requirement review, system-driven forecasting and ordering, and accurate stock usage tracking to ensure timely supply and inventory control
- Contribute to annual budget planning for chemicals.
- Establish a system for managing new chemical registration and license application, tracking and renewal for existing chemicals based on consumption and storage constraints and requirements.
- Organize periodic checks and reviews of AMC within Fab environment as part of environmental health monitoring. Take appropriate actions to address any high ppm situation.
- Define effective supply and disposal concept and plan for the various chemicals used at SIN FE Operations. Manage the realization of safe supply (CDU, auto dosing, etc.) and discharge methods and systems for chemicals used in line with established plan.
- Minimum a Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in high volume production of electronics components in an MNC or semi conductor industry.
- Able to work under pressure and with strong commitment at work.
- Proficient with MS Office applications such as Excel, Power Point, and Words.
- Preferably with experience in material planning & chemical safety handling in semi conductor industry.
- Relevant knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing processes and equipment. 2. Good communications and interpersonal skills, and good team player.
- Systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Application of quality and SPC tools at work.
- Dynamic, resourceful, creative, innovative and self-driven.
- A strong analytical mind and able to organize works to identify the root cause of problems.
- Able to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
