Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
- 16-18 years of experience in hardware system design, compute infrastructure platforms, or related domains, with demonstrated progression into technical leadership roles.
- Own the system‑level architecture and design strategy for complex compute platforms spanning processors, memory, storage, high‑speed I/O, and power delivery.
- Guide and mentor a team of senior hardware engineers, setting technical direction, design best practices, and execution standards across the product lifecycle.
- Lead platform designs incorporating Processors, DRAM, SATA, SSD, PCIe, USB SuperSpeed, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, LVDS, and DAC/ADC, with strong ownership of high‑power supply and PDN architecture.
- Serve as the primary technical interface with cross‑functional teams (BBSYS, Chipset Architecture, PMIC Systems, Software, Mechanical, and CAD teams), ensuring early alignment on requirements, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical leadership for hardware platform development, including evaluation boards and internal reference platforms using Qualcomm chipsets.
- Deep understanding of EDA tools (e.g., PowerSI, ADS) and system‑level analysis; experience enabling automation and efficiency improvements (e.g., Python‑based workflows) is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design constraints and PCB layout tradeoffs, enabling effective decision‑making in collaboration with Mechanical and CAD teams.
- Partner closely with software and architecture to enable co‑development of shared platforms, balancing hardware capabilities with system‑level tradeoffs.
- Drive high‑speed board design excellence, including architecture reviews, schematic and layout sign‑offs, SI/PI validation, bring‑up, and long‑term sustainment.
- Establish and enforce design review, validation, and DVT processes, ensuring platforms meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
- Guide teams through QC chipsets bring‑up, system integration, performance characterization, and hardware verification, ensuring timely issue resolution and root‑cause analysis.
- Ensure documentation quality by driving clear technical specifications, design guidelines, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both engineering and leadership audiences.
