General Summary

The engineer will contribute to the CSE stability team in

Debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues on Qualcomm chipsets.

Collaborate with multiple cross-functional technology teams and execution teams.

Ensure the Stability Quality of the product as per stipulated MTBF metrics to meet product milestones.

The Position Requires

Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain

Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel and device driver’s model.

Sound C/C++ programming skills.

Solid knowledge of ARM v7 and v8 architecture, exception levels, multi-core ARM/CPUs, etc

Expert level knowledge of OS internals.

Prior experience with system debug etc is a plus

Knowledge of debug tools such as JTAG, ETM is a plus

Exposure or prior hands-on Python is a plus.

Excellent communication and soft skills

Master or bachelor’s degree in ECE, EE or CS.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
