Purpose of the Role:

As a Test Station Design Co-op, you will be working as a member of the test station and small pilots development team to design and commission test rigs for various projects at Svante.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are currently enrolled in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering degree.
• You have experience using Office software, Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
  

What success looks like in this role:

• You will create and reviews Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for test stations.
• You will assist in assembling & commissioning the designed test stations in the lab including electrical and mechanical components.
• You will troubleshoot test station start-up, shutdown, and operating performance issues.
• You will perform various calculations relating to heat transfer, flow rates and gas composition.
• You will create engineering documentation to support commissioning testing, operation, and maintenance manuals.
