Purpose of the Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer Co-op, you will be participating in the design of RAM products and components incorporating the latest technological solutions developed by Product Engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You are currently a 2nd to 3rd year undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering.
- You have hands-on experience in mechanical design.
- You have solid knowledge of design principles and CAD.
Bonus Skills and Qualifications:
- You have knowledge of PTC Creo.
What Success looks like in this role:
- You will deliver component designs to Svante and its customers meeting all assigned performance criterion and project timelines provided by the RAM Product Leader.
- You will contribute to design verification of components and sub-systems of the RAM.
- You will support design decisions with clear analysis and calculations documented according to Svante and engineering standards.
- You will support concept, prototype assembly and integration, and production, of digital and physical machine build.
- You will produce documentation for designs, assembly instructions and manuals.
