Purpose of the Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Svante, you will have ownership of all in-house manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing new processes and refining and improving existing processes. You will participate in the development of continuous improvement culture. You will play a critical role in creating world-class, high-volume manufacturing plants for Svante as we expand to meet the global demand for Carbon Dioxide capture products (Structured Adsorbent Beds – SAB).

Working within the framework of Svante Values and Goals the MPE will mentor a team of process engineers. The team will be a critical part of new product design and manufacturing process development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• You have a minimum of 5 years of execution in world-class, high-volume manufacturing process development.
  
• You have an excellent grasp of foundational and state of the art manufacturing process development techniques.
  
• You have experience in working with, troubleshooting and implementing highly automated equipment.
  
• You possess a strong ability to methodically troubleshoot complex problems.
• You have competency in solid modelling software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or similar.

Bosun Skills and Qualifications:

• You have previous experience in web handling.

What Success looks like in this role:

• You'll develop new manufacturing processes from initial concept reviews to full-scale manufacturing implementation by studying requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment.
• You'll establish product and process capability requirements and standards to confirm that proposed manufacturing processes are delivering to expectations.
• You'll work with launch teams to help formulate project plans, coordinate tasks, and track progress towards project deliverables
• You'll partner with quality, engineering, operations, and materials to help drive production readiness.
• You'll lead the initial development of manufacturing technical documentation (process flow, PFMEA).
• You will support and demonstrate leadership with all health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment
