Purpose of the Role

As the Team Lead for Carbon Capture Products, you will manage a team of engineers and specialists focused on the design, development, and optimization of carbon capture filter technologies. You will play a pivotal role in guiding product development, ensuring high performance and market readiness of our carbon capture solutions. Your leadership will be essential in aligning team efforts with strategic objectives and delivering impactful results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You have bachelor’s degree in mechanical or materials Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • You bring at least 10 years of experience in product development, preferably in the field of carbon capture or related environmental technologies.
  • You bring minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of managing and motivating teams to achieve project goals.
  • You bring strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • You have good experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes, including design approval and change management.
  • You have excellent technical problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of carbon capture technologies.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience designing with Creo CAD and Ansys FEA is desirable.

What Success looks like in this role

  • You have the ability to lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists working on carbon capture products. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • You successfully oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of carbon capture filter development projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • You drive the development of new carbon capture filter technologies and improve existing products. Guide the team through design, prototyping, testing, and optimization phases.
  • You provide technical guidance and support throughout the product lifecycle. Address complex engineering challenges and ensure technical excellence in all aspects of product development.
  • You develop and execute strategies for product development and market introduction. Align team goals with company objectives and market needs.
  • You manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, including approval of product designs, changes, and updates. Ensure compliance with PLM standards and effective documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • You successfully lead detailed design reviews to ensure product designs meet technical requirements, performance specifications, and regulatory standards. Facilitate constructive feedback and drive design improvements.
