Purpose of the Role:

As an Industrial Maintenance Millwright, you'll be an essential part of our high-volume manufacturing facility at Svante OEM&D. As we grow to meet the global demand for Carbon Dioxide capture products (Structured Absorbent Beds – SAB), your role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

This opportunity requires flexibility to work shift work and overtime as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are a Red Seal Industrial Millwright with 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• You have an ability to understand complex material mixing, material transfer and assembly systems.
• You have worked with highly automated equipment.
• You have extensive knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems, including experience with pumps, ovens, blowers and sensors.
• You are proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• You have experience promoting safety by advocating and supporting all health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

• You have experience with web handling equipment.
• You have experience in Instrumentation (PLC programs/HMI, mostly Allen Bradley).
• You have the ability to jog robots.
• You have a Forklift ticket or Scissor lift ticket.

What Success looks like in this role:

• You will inspect, maintain, install and repair mechanical equipment and systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, ovens and pneumatic components.
  
• You'll perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  
• You'll troubleshoot mechanical issues and diagnose malfunctions in machinery.
  
• You will take a lead role in setting up spare parts for all manufacturing equipment.
  
• You will read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  
• You make recommendations for preventative maintenance programs for applicable equipment and improvement opportunities for systems functionality.
  
• You will work collaboratively with other maintenance staff, electricians, manufacturing engineers and production teams.
• You will adhere to all safety regulations and protocols and promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
