Purpose of the Role:

As the Test Station Design Co-op, you will join Svante's Test Station and Small Pilots
development team in designing and commissioning test stations for various projects across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• You have some experience using Visio, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office software.

What Success looks like in this role:

• You will assist with assembling and commissioning the designed test stations in the lab, including electrical and mechanical components.
• You'll perform various calculations relating to heat transfer, flow rates, and gas composition.
• You will produce technical specifications and select instrumentation and equipment as well as generate technical reports.
• You will collaborate with the Systems Engineering team and carry out other related tasks and projects as required.
• You will create engineering documentation to support commissioning, testing, operation, and maintenance manuals.
• You will troubleshoot test station start-up, shutdown, and operating performance issues.
• You will create and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for test stations.
