Purpose of the Role:

As the Process Engineer Co-op, you primarily work with the process engineering and technology deployment team members. This may include projects related to improving performance, sensitivity analysis, heat integration options, process flow diagram preparation and process simulations, technology benchmarking to name a few!

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
• You have proven skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• You are self-motivated, eager to learn, have excellent organizational skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  
• You have strong verbal and written communication/documentation skills.
• You are familiar with using ASPEN Hysys simulation tool.

What Success looks like in this role:

• You will perform process simulations.

• You will prepare Heat and Mass balance and Process Flow Diagrams.

• You will perform sensitivity analysis and evaluate different heat integration options on capital and operational cost.

• You'll support the process team on project deliverables and the technology team on deliverables.
