Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed and customer-focused Pharmacist to join the TATA1MG retail store

team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring

regulatory compliance, delivering exceptional patient counseling, and supporting store

operations in alignment with TATA1MG’s healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prescription Handling & Dispensing

● Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy and completeness

● Dispense medications as prescribed by registered medical practitioners

● Ensure correct dosage, labeling, and packaging of medicines

● Maintain 100% compliance with pharmacy regulations and company SOPs

2. Patient Counseling & Customer Service

● Educate patients on dosage, administration, side effects, and storage of medicines

● Provide guidance on OTC products and wellness solutions

● Address patient queries professionally and empathetically

● Promote preventive healthcare and adherence to prescribed therapy

3. Inventory & Store Management

● Monitor stock levels and expiry dates

● Maintain proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cold chain products)

● Coordinate with supply chain for timely replenishment

● Ensure compliance with narcotic and scheduled drug regulations

4. Documentation & Compliance

● Maintain accurate sales and prescription records

● Ensure adherence to Drug & Cosmetics Act and Pharmacy Council guidelines

● Support audits and regulatory inspections

● Maintain confidentiality of patient information

5. Digital & Operational Excellence

● Use TATA1MG digital systems for billing, order processing, and inventory tracking

● Support online-to-offline prescription fulfillment

● Contribute to store performance targets and customer satisfaction metrics

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)

● Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration

● 1–3 years of retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred

● Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and drug interactions
