Brief about the team

The Consumer Products team at Tata 1mg is a center of excellence within Category Management, driving private label product launches. They identify opportunities, work with vendors to develop high-quality products, and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to sales across e-pharma, institutional, e-diagnostics, and retail channels.


What will you do

We are looking for a strategic Category Manager to lead and grow our VMS portfolio, owning strategy, product roadmap, market analysis, pricing, positioning, and performance insights. The ideal candidate is data-driven, passionate about consumer health, and focused on creating products loved by consumers.

  • Own VMS category P&L and long-term strategy
  • Define GTM, pricing, and product positioning
  • Identify and launch high-potential products with R&D & Regulatory
  • Benchmark formulations, formats, and delivery systems globally
  • Conduct market research, consumer insights, and feedback loops
  • Track competitors, pricing, discounts, reviews, and portfolio gaps
  • Monitor sales, margins, velocity, and ROI across channels
  • Optimize product mix for revenue and LTV. Collaborate cross-functionally for timely, compliant launches



What we are looking for

  • MBA (preferred) or Graduate with 4–7 years in D2C, Nutraceuticals, Consumer Health, or E-commerce
  • Experience in VMS or wellness/nutrition categories preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking and category visioning
  • Product lifecycle management (concept to shelf)
  • Proficient in data analysis, Excel modeling, and pricing tools
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and wellness trends
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Execution-oriented with ability to multitask
