Brief about the Team

The Hospital Warehouse Lead Associate is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a healthcare setting. This role ensures efficient inventory management, timely distribution of medical supplies, and compliance with hospital standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching medical supplies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to hospital departments.
  • Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks and manage shift schedules.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.

3. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive and sterile supplies.

4. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, hygiene standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain safety protocols for handling medical equipment and hazardous materials.
  • Support infection control standards.

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement warehouse management best practices.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other hospital departments.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily and weekly inventory and operations reports.
  • Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment time, and stock variance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/WMS).
  • Understanding of healthcare supply chain processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
