About The Company

We turn food waste into positive value on-site with our innovative food waste solution. We developed an on-site containerized anaerobic digester, called a Waste Transformer. Two Waste Transformers are currently placed in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Biodegradable waste, such as kitchen waste and commercial waste, is used to create biogas and then converted into electricity and heat. The food waste itself turns into liquid natural fertilizer ready to replace (polluting) artificial fertilizers.

What You'll Be Doing

As Operator, you'll operate and maintain the installation on-site of our Waste Transformers.

You'll work with food waste and complex machinery. You will work in shifts.

What We're Looking For

• You completed a technical training, f.i. in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar field.
• You have experience building/maintaining technical installations, ideally speaking in a similar industry (biogas, wastewater treatment, oil & gas)
• You are highly independent.
• We are looking for someone with a can-do, hands-on mentality
• You could build a spaceship out of duct tape and matchsticks.
• Ideally, you'll already have experience servicing equipment and machinery
• You can read and follow an engineering drawing
• You are comfortable assembling electro-mechanical equipment
• You are comfortable working at height
