We offer consumers and brands the durability and shelf life they have come to expect of ordinary plastics, whilst offering a safe and sustainable end-of-life solution.

We are seeking a talented and professional accountant to join our quickly growing US team. This is a full-time position, home-based, located in Illinois. TIPA’s headquarters are based in Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently including

❖ General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with German/Dutch accounting standards.

❖ Recording suppliers’ invoices, and managing the payments on a timely manner

❖ Bank, customers and suppliers’ reconciliations

❖ Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, including employee reimbursements.

❖ Record Retention: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and ensure compliance with document retention policies.

• Issue invoices to customers and review collection reports.

• Review reseller certificates from customers.

• Support the yearly Federal & state tax reports

• Report to HQ monthly financial statements for the US entities.

• Audit support: Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations

• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations •

Financial Systems: Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an accountant or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Experience with ERP systems

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
