Social and Digital Marketing Manager

As TurtleTree's Social and Digital Marketing Manager, you will be pivotal in driving our business expansion as we bring sustainable and non-animal ingredients to the world. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and measuring social, digital, paid, and email strategies, programs, and campaigns that drive awareness, education, and engagement with a global audience, growing our following base, creating compelling conversations, engaging influencers while helping to drive B2B lead generation across our digital channels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and science.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to promote brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Create and manage content calendars.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to optimize social media efforts.
  • Actively foster and manage an online community to deepen customer relationships and loyalty.

E-mail Marketing Management:

  • Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage current clients, educate, and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling email content that aligns with overall marketing strategies and goals.
  • Segment email lists based on demographics, behaviors, and other relevant criteria to optimize campaign effectiveness.

Paid Media Management:

  • Develop and implement paid media campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align paid media strategies with overall marketing goals and target audience segments.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and ad placement strategies to optimize campaign performance.
  • Coordinate paid media efforts with social media, email marketing, and influencer programs to create a cohesive and integrated marketing strategy.

Influencer Program Management:

  • Develop and implement an influencer marketing program to leverage key industry influencers and thought leaders.
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers aligned with the company's values and target audience.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, and partnerships with influencers to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Collaborate with influencers to create engaging, authentic content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in influencer marketing, including disclosure guidelines and regulations.

Content Creation:

  • Work with the creative team to develop compelling creative that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with target audiences.
  • Generate creative and compelling content for social media channels, paid media, and e-mail.
  • Work cross-functionally across the company to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing and sales goals.
  • Manage website content and updates.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for social, email, paid, and influencer campaigns.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of campaigns and digital assets, providing insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • A/B test campaigns to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and overall campaign performance.
  • Analyze (Return On Investments) ROI for campaigns and programs.
  • Regularly report on the impact of social and influencer activities on brand awareness, engagement, and other relevant metrics.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the social and digital budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum impact.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with partners to optimize budget utilization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing strategy and execution.
  • 5+ years experience working in social media, paid media, and email marketing.
  • Strong experience with LinkedIn.
  • Experience with B2B marketing strategies and audience targeting.
  • Knowledge of social publishing, listening, and email marketing tools such as SalesForce, Hootsuite, MailChimp, Sprinkler, and Sprout Social.
  • Proficiency in digital media platforms, analytics tools, and digital asset management software.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance.
  • Understanding of SEO across digital assets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with graphic design tools and video editing platforms. Video and photography skills are a plus.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and project management.
  • Ability to work with a globally based team.
