Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, providing data-driven insights, operational analysis, and business recommendations that support organizational growth and efficiency within the aerospace sector. This role will be responsible for analyzing complex business operations, identifying performance improvement opportunities, and leading cross-functional initiatives that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with the CEO to define, track, and execute key strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Conduct detailed financial, operational, and market analyses to support executive decision-making and business planning.
  • Evaluate business performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead business case development for new programs, investments, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and program management teams to assess efficiency, cost structures, and project profitability.
  • Drive data integration and reporting efforts to provide leadership with timely, accurate business intelligence.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive reports that communicate key insights to leadership and the board.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment between strategic goals, financial targets, and operational execution.
  • Support corporate development activities including mergers, partnerships, and strategic planning initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Strategy Analyst, or similar role within the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Proven experience working with executive leadership on strategic or operational initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace operations, supply chain, production, and regulatory considerations.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities—able to convey complex data clearly to senior leadership.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of operational execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting government contracts, defense programs, or commercial aerospace initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek).
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma.
