Job Summary:

This Senior in-house Paralegal position supports our legal department. Primary responsibilities will be managing the generation of common agreements and overseeing our records retention system. Additional duties will include supervision of our intellectual property portfolio and assisting our business and legal teams with legal research, legal document production and information management. This position will report to the General Counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee generation, negotiation and execution of non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions and similar agreements
  • Manage corporate records system
  • Manage intellectual property portfolio, including tracking application status and maintenance requirements
  • Coordinate and/or support, as applicable, compliance activities, such as preparation and filing of federal, state and local forms and documents
  • Assist with management of corporate minute books and share ledgers and support investor relations team
  • Assist with preparing materials for the Board of Directors
  • Assist with corporate transactions
  • Conduct preliminary legal research using on-line legal research tools
  • Review and analyze legal documents versus templates or standards
  • Other projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Work independently with minimal supervision or in a group with proficiency
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills across disciplines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office, MS Teams, Sharepoint required. Carta and Edgar experience and proficiency preferred
  • Notary license or eligible to be trained for and acquire a Notary license
