Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by performing administrative tasks and coordinating a wide range of HR activities including onboarding/offboarding, recordkeeping, data entry, and electronic file maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides data entry support and maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records/personnel files in the HR system.
  • Supports payroll process by tracking timekeeping and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Generates HR reports, metrics, and audits as requested.
  • Assists with the preparation and filing of electronic documents including correspondence as requested.
  • Supports onboarding activities in partnership with the Recruiting Coordinator; performs new hire data entry activities in HRIS and conducts new hire orientation.
  • Completes I-9 verifications by collecting and verifying documentation, submitting E-Verify, and maintaining I-9 files.
  • Coordinates offboarding and exit procedures alongside HRBP.
  • Assists with maintaining and updating bulletin board announcements, events calendar, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 1–3+ years’ experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-state and high growth organizations preferred.

The salary range represents the base salary range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors. Those include but are not limited to location, experience, and performance.
