Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated emerging talent to participate in a 10-week immersive internship program from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026. This program offers university and graduate students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.

The Mechanical Engineering internship will participate in a project involving component mechanical engineering for components of a roll control system (RCS).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct SolidWorks tasks including entry level mechanical design, drawings, data management, and creation of toolbox features
  • Assist in performing integrating and collecting engineering data for basic lab-based testing
  • Ability to machine and fabricate simple prototype test components
  • Assist engineering personnel in creating PowerPoint presentations, engineering test data reduction using Excel, writing reports using Word

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; junior standing by fall 2026
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with SolidWorks, Ansys, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Working knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulas
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion

Preferences:

  • Previous internship, coursework, or project experience

Hourly Pay Range: $23.50-$30.00 per hour

*Hourly rate determined by academic year, college major, line of business, geography
