Position Overview:
As a Battery Specialist at Zypp Electric, you will oversee and manage all aspects of Li-Ion
battery technology within our electric vehicle fleet. Your expertise in battery processes,
quality management, performance testing, failure analysis, and corrective actions will be
instrumental in ensuring our battery systems' optimal functioning and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the subject matter expert on Li-Ion battery technology, providing in-depth
knowledge and guidance to the team.
2. Develop and implement quality management processes and protocols related to battery
systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Conduct performance testing and analysis of batteries to assess their efficiency, reliability,
and lifespan.
4. Use your strong analytical skills to investigate battery failures, identify root causes, and
develop effective corrective actions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement battery performance,
efficiency, and safety improvements.
6. Provide technical support and training to team members on battery-related matters.
7. Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to ensure the availability of high-quality
batteries.
8. Contribute to developing and evaluating battery-related specifications, standards, and
procurement processes.
9. Work closely with the R&D team to support the development of new battery technologies
and their integration into our EV fleet.
10. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry organizations to stay updated on safety
and quality standards in the battery and EV sectors.
11. Stay current with the latest advancements and trends in battery technology, EV vehicles,
and relevant safety and quality regulations.
