Salary: 50-60k + Commission

POSITION OVERVIEW
AirEx is seeking a motivated Senior Business Development Manager to help realise the company’s commercial goals in the Social Housing and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) retrofit markets.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the business development strategy for the ECO, Social Housing or Local Authority markets.
- Generating and nurturing B2B leads, building relationships and implementing sales approaches to progress deals from early engagement to close and repeat business.
- Using a mix of digital channels, face-to-face meetings and events to build trust and relationships with customers in social housing, local authorities and energy efficiency retrofit contractors.
- Taking responsibility for forecasts for your main target market segment, developing the process and assessing performance
- Working with the wider commercial and operations teams to identify opportunities and risks in delivering the company’s commercial goals
QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
You will have:
- A passion for sustainability and working to support vulnerable people
- Excellent interpersonal skills, but with a desire to achieve exceptional results
- Significant experience in driving business development for a key customer segment or route to market, including forecasting, monitoring progress and reporting
- Strong experience of customer prospecting, follow-up strategies, sales approaches and techniques
- Demonstrable experience in nurturing and managing customer relationships
- The ability to interpret data, market information and capture customer insights to inform strategies and priorities for key market segments
- Ideally experience working in energy efficiency or the renewable technology space. Experience working with social housing landlords, retrofit contractors or ECO installers is a bonus.
