Business Development Representative, Renewable Energy
Full-time | Financial District, New York, NY (Hybrid)
Piper Maddox has partnered with a venture-backed renewable energy technology company disrupting how commercial real estate manages and consumes energy. They are looking for a driven BDR to own top-of-funnel pipeline generation and help scale their commercial growth.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and create warm opportunities for Account Executives through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and sales readiness; schedule meetings and product demos for AEs
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets with a strong hunter mentality
• Engage and educate prospective clients using business case development, ROI analysis, and data-backed market insights
• Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate cross-functionally to bring the best solutions to prospective customers
Requirements:
• Must be within commutable distance to the Financial District, New York, NY
• Personable, energetic, passionate, and hard-working mindset
• 1+ year of B2B sales experience, ideally selling enterprise software or hardware into commercial real estate markets
• Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding pipeline and revenue targets
• Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
