Cost Analyst – Utility / Energy Infrastructure

Hybrid – Allentown, PA (2–3 days/week)

Piper Maddox is partnered with a rapidly growing developer and EPC contractor delivering utility-scale energy infrastructure across the U.S., backed by a 100+ year-old family-owned organization.

They’re expanding across transmission, substations, solar, and BESS projects and are known for a collaborative, family-style culture. We are looking for a Cost Analyst to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cost analysis, reporting, and financial tracking for large-scale energy projects
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and accruals for projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate project financials
• Oversee project in-service and closeout activities
• Mentor and support junior cost analysts

Requirements:

• 3–7+ years of experience in cost analysis, project controls, or accounting (utility experience preferred)
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Familiarity with project cost systems; experience with PPL tools is a plus
• Comfortable working hybrid (2+ days/week in Allentown, PA)
