The Casper, WY team is looking for an EHS Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental programs across their Wyoming development projects and ensure the company continues to operate at the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing implementation of corporate health, safety, and environmental programs across Wyoming operations
- Ensuring compliance with all permits, licenses, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Acting as the primary point of contact for environmental incidents and non‑conformances, including leading investigations, developing corrective actions, and managing regulatory reporting
- Managing environmental project development from kickoff through closure — including cost tracking, schedule management, and contractor/consultant oversight
- Advising project personnel and contractors on HSE considerations for planned activities and upset conditions to ensure operations remain aligned with regulatory and company standards
- Coordinating with internal subject matter experts (operations, geology, technical services, environment, safety) to support project execution
- Serving as the liaison between the company and Wyoming regulatory agencies and industry associations
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in mining, energy, or a similar industrial environment (mine site experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and environmental project management
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and cross‑functional project teams
- Ability to work on‑site at the mine and in the office as needed
- Professional engineering license or EIT certification preferred
