Piper Maddox is partnered with a leading organization in the renewables space that is seeking a Director of Commercial Operations & Pricing to lead and elevate its commercial strategy.

This role is ideal for a driven, high-impact leader who is ready to step in and make an immediate contribution. As the Director of Commercial Operations & Pricing, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing commercial strategy, operating at the intersection of sales, finance, and operations to drive performance, alignment, and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of financial models to support commercial offerings across LNG, CNG, and RNG
• Drive commercial modeling and deal structuring, partnering closely with sales teams on long-term contracts and pricing strategies
• Collaborate with finance to align on financial objectives, pricing frameworks, and margin optimization
• Analyze market conditions and competitive dynamics to inform commercial decision-making and positioning

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in commercial finance, deal desk, or a related function
• Industry experience within LNG, CNG, and/or RNG markets
• Background in commodities trading or exposure to trading environments preferred
• Strong understanding of risk mitigation, contract structuring, and pricing strategy
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with the ability to build and interpret complex models
