FP&A Manager

Piper Maddox is partnering with a highly successful European manufacturing company that is now establishing their leading market position in the US. This company is undergoing rapid expansion and is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the Finance function including their AR/AP and GL teams.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Our client is seeking their next FP&A Manager who will own and oversee the FP&A functions of the business unit as well as provide key management, reporting, budgeting, cost control, and cost analysis of their plant and overall finances. This person will be working directly with the CEO, in building out the US budget and advising on operations, supply chain, and sales leadership.

KEY SKILLS

• Proficiency in variance analysis, financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, and margin analysis.
• Conduct all FP&A analyses to report and model the finances of both a manufacturing plant and company.
• Support month and year-end close processes and maintain internal controls.
• Drive improvements in reporting accuracy and ERP implementation and utilization.

EXPERIENCE

• Robust experience in FP&A and operational finance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven ability to manage, lead, and influence a team while building relationships with senior executives.
• Experience working with a European company/parent company or international finance team (a plus).
