Staff Accountant | Perm | Direct-Hire | Fully On-Site | $65,000 - $85,000

My client is one of the largest and fastest-growing energy businesses in the United States, with operations spanning multiple continents and a portfolio built over 20 years. With stock performance up over 300% in the last five years and a company that has doubled in size over the last 12 months, this is a business with serious momentum behind it.

The Casper team is looking for a Staff Accountant to support their financial operations and help keep the engine running as the company continues to scale.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing accounts payable end-to-end — invoice processing, vendor verification, and expense tracking
• Performing transactional accounting entries and maintaining accurate financial records for audits and internal reviews
• Preparing monthly close working papers and supporting actual vs. budget analysis
• Preparing local tax filings in accordance with state and county requirements
• Supporting the external audit process and ensuring compliance with internal controls, US GAAP, and company policies
• Collaborating with operations and vendors to resolve issues as they arise

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting
• Energy or manufacturing industry background is a plus
• Solid grasp of US GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting software and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
