Our client is seeking a motivated RNG Gas Plant Field Operator to support a new RNG facility in White Plains, KY. This is a hands-on role focused on operating and maintaining landfill gas collection systems and RNG processing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.

This opportunity sits with a well-established, stable RNG Operator in the renewable energy and waste-to-energy sector, offering strong job security and the chance to join a site at the ground floor ahead of its Spring 2026 start-up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate and monitor landfill gas collection systems and RNG processing equipment to support steady production
• Troubleshoot and maintain compressors, pumps, filters, and gas processing systems
• Diagnose issues such as vacuum loss, air intrusion, and gas quality fluctuations
• Perform field inspections within landfill environments and support system reliability
• Complete preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment rebuilds (including sump pumps)
• Work closely with the plant team to ensure uptime and operational consistency

What You’ll Need:

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial operations, landfill gas, RNG, or gas processing
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with compressors, pumps, or rotating equipment
• Mobile equipment experience (forklift, manlift, skid steer, mini-excavator) is a must!
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule (nights/weekends as needed)
